Spotify Playlists

Every playlist lives in the same world as everything else I make — so here they all are, in one place.

I’ve built a handful of Spotify playlists that each tell a different piece of the story: the songs that shaped me, the sound of a club that doesn’t exist anymore, the tracks you’ve heard sneak in and out of the podcast, and a few things still taking shape. Some update constantly, some are frozen in time on purpose. Below you’ll find all of them, what they’re about, and a link to press play.

What Was That Song?

Intro and outro music from the Jeff Elder Isn’t Real podcast, newest episodes at the top. Heard a song you liked and wondered what it was? If it’s on Spotify, it’s probably here!

A Night at The Max

The Max was an after-hours club in Tulsa, OK — doors at 2am, out by sunrise, 1987 to 1990. This playlist rotates through the songs that filled those rooms when I DJ’d there. Playlist updated every week or two, kept around 3 hours, same as the real thing. If you were there, welcome home.
